Here’s some recent commission work for Robin Zink, which I think is going to be tattooed on his lady friend’s legs because she’s a goddamn winner.
The old hag Baba Yaga:
Her Chicken House:
And a close-up of the weathervane because I love it:
I’m afraid to ask where the door is.
He liveth! You should take a look at Bloodborne if you can, the art-style, monster- and level-design are totally up your valley!
Yeah I’m still here, the assassins failed.
Life just kicked it up about ten notches in the last couple of months, mocking thing that it is.
Yeah Bloodborne looks pretty tasty, but unless it gets ported to PC I doubt I’ll get to play it; fucked if I’m paying for a console.
Is it as clunky and unforgiving as Dark Souls?
I love the design of Dark Souls, but the fiftieth time you have to cut through the same damned enemies to try to kill that stupid ghost who keeps getting you and then you kill him but ANOTHER ONE slips out of the wall and bites your face off, you get kind of tired of it.
Still as unforgiving but not as clunky, they’ve set the emphasis on faster, more aggressive combat. I really, really hope it comes out for PC, it would be a shame if not. Love the blog, but life has a way of getting in the way of things. Good luck with all your private endeavors!
I have about 10 different huge partly-finished things wallowing around on my hard drive, I have a problem with ever-expanding everything I work on.
If I find the time to finish them around our household business of starting a tea merchant empire, being sexpots, ceramics, web design, real jobs, and potentially hosting children’s art television, and the stars align, you’ll have some more game fodder soon.
Wohooo! And that sounds like an exciting life. All hail the tealords!
